A small campaign, yet one that still pops into my mind from time to time, because it revealed a Van Gogh I hadn’t known before. In 2020, the Van Gogh Museum asked me to promote their exhibition Your Loving Vincent: Van Gogh’s Greatest Letters.
The exhibition took place during the COVID years — a time when many people were experiencing loneliness, alienation, and a lack of intimacy. We decided to let Vincent speak for himself, using his words to offer comfort and a quiet sense of connection.
